NASH Treatment 2020-2021: New treatments for NASH are in clinical trials. At the moment treating fatty liver disease is based on a "multidisciplinary team and that means we're talking to the patient directly. We’re counseling them about behavior modification, change in diet, decrease in calories, more exercise, but it also involves a dietitian and nutritionist and we often look at other components including a pharmacist...Primary Care, endocrine, cardiovascular experts, could be Cardiologists."
